NDC Awutu-Senya East commemorates June 4 with clean-up and healthcare support: Ghana News

Over the weekend, the National Democratic Congress () in the Awutu-Senya East Constituency organized a clean-up exercise to mark the June 4 anniversary, coupled with generous gestures towards the Mother and Child Hospital.

As part of the commemorative activities, the undertook a clean-up initiative in the CP Electoral Area and the Mother and Child Hospital. Additionally, the party donated essential items to the hospital and took a step further by settling the medical bills of patients detained due to the inability to pay bills, ranging from GH₵45.00 to GH₵1,000.00.

The constituency, led by Chairman Mr. Stephen Ofosu Agyare, expressed its commitment to both community welfare and political preparation for the upcoming 2024 general elections.

In a statement to the media, Mr. Ofosu Agyare addressed the challenges facing the nation and emphasized the need for a return to the values of accountability, probity, and transparency, emblematic of the June 4th revolution.

“I believe that a comeback of John Mahama's government will correct all the deadly blunders this government is committing, and as such, I urge Ghanaians to keep hope alive since there is an opportunity for them to vote out the government in 2024,” he stated.

Mr. Agyare noted that the constituency had not witnessed the expected benefits from the government's major development policies, such as the One District One Dam and $1 million per constituency initiatives. He appealed to constituents and the nation at large to rally behind the NDC in the 2024 elections.
