Ms Hollistar Duah-Yentumi appointed Acting Director-General of SIGA: Ghana News

Ms Hollistar Duah-Yentumi has been named the Acting Director-General of the State Interests and Governance Authority (SIGA), according to a press release from the Corporate Affairs Directorate of the Authority.

In her new role, Ms Duah-Yentumi will lead SIGA's strategic direction, oversee governance frameworks, and champion the mission to uphold state interests in specified entities with the highest standards of integrity.

Ms Duah-Yentumi, who previously served as the General Manager in charge of Operations at SIGA since its establishment in 2019, brings a wealth of experience to her new position.

She also served as the Executive Secretary to the former Divestiture Implementation Committee, where she formulated strategies to uncover deserted state-owned assets.

Currently, Ms Duah-Yentumi sits on the Board of DUYENT Global Inc. and Royal Ashanti Holdings Inc. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Superior Court of Judicature of Ghana and a member of the with nearly two decades of experience across various industries, including the Global Energy Sector, Minerals and Mining Sector, Oil and Gas, Banking and Finance, Infrastructure Development, and Corporate Law.

A graduate of the with a degree in Law and Political Science, Ms Duah-Yentumi holds a Qualifying Certificate in Law from the and a Master of Laws (LL. M.) from the University of Maryland's Francis King Carey School of Law.

She is also a product of the Primary School and , holding a Diploma in Journalism from the Ghana Institute of Journalism.
