Bibiani, — Mr Alfred Obeng-Boateng, the Member of (MP) for Bibiani-Anhwiaso- Constituency in the Region, has taken a proactive step in shaping the future of the youth in his constituency by organizing a counselling seminar.

Approximately 5,354 young people, aged between 17 and 25, from the Sefwi , Anhwiaso, and Bibiani zones, attended the seminar held under the theme: “Becoming a Great Person in Future.”

Mr. Obeng-Boateng emphasized the pivotal role the youth play in the country's future and urged them to exhibit responsibility and readiness for leadership.

As the CEO of Approchers Series Ghana, Mr. Obeng-Boateng advised the youth to set ambitious goals for themselves, irrespective of their backgrounds, and work diligently to achieve them.

He expressed the belief that a series of such counselling sessions could contribute to the development of professionals and enhance skills training for the youth, making them more competitive in the job market.

Encouraging those interested in working in mining firms, Mr. Obeng-Boateng suggested pursuing programs that provide the necessary skills for opportunities in the mining sector.

He outlined ongoing development projects in the area, including the construction of the Adupri-Tanoso road, an e-learning centre at Anhwiaso, boreholes, classroom blocks, a Compound, toilet facilities, and financial assistance for brilliant but needy students.

Social Counseling Session

Assuring his commitment to bringing more development interventions for the youth, Mr. Obeng-Boateng received gratitude from participants after the program.

Dignitaries present at the seminar included Mr. Paul Andoh, the Municipal Chief Executive for Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai, New Patriotic Party Constituency executives, and religious and traditional authorities, among others.
