Mfantseman NPP 1st Vice-chairman resigns

Mr Gabriel Amoah, the 1st Vice-Chairman of the New Patriotic Party () in the Mfantseman Constituency of the , has resigned.

In an with the , Mr Amoah disclosed that he tendered his resignation letter on Friday, March 31, which was received by Mr Evans Osei, the Constituency Secretary, and copied to all appropriate quarters.

While Mr Amoah did not confirm or deny speculation that he intends to contest for the parliamentary slot, he expressed his commitment to work with the constituency leadership to maintain the 's political fortunes in the .

Mr Amoah has served the NPP with dedication and commitment across the ranks and believes that it is his duty to mobilize the grassroots to make the constituency a stronghold of the NPP.

According to Mr Amoah, energizing the party's base is crucial to the NPP's success in the 2024 elections. He called on supporters of the party to embark on a massive grassroots mobilization campaign to get more people on board.

He also urged the youth of the NPP to engage their minds critically and convince Ghanaians that changing a productive regime merely because it has lasted for eight years is not healthy for a country that seeks progress.

Mr Amoah noted that Mfantseman is the heartbeat of the NPP and political activism. He expressed his willingness to sacrifice his resources not only to save the party in the area but also to make the party more attractive.

He also emphasized that breaking the eight is a must-do for the youth of the NPP. Mr Amoah believes that it is the surest way to ensure a resounding victory for the party in the 2024 elections.

Mr Amoah expressed his confidence in the NPP and its leadership. He called on all members of the party to support the leadership in their bid to maintain and improve the party's performance in the Mfantseman Constituency.
