Mr. Mustapha Mohammed Demaliya, an artist at the People's Art Execution and Training Village in Tamale, has showcased his support for Chef Failatu Abdul-Razak's Guinness Book of Record attempt by creating captivating paintings of her and the cook-a-thon event.
In an interview with the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday, Mr. Demaliya explained that his artwork site, strategically positioned opposite the cook-a-thon venue, served as a platform to express admiration for Chef Failatu beyond the culinary realm.
“If we can't support financially, we can support with our talents,” said Mr. Demaliya, emphasizing the importance of using his artistic skills to appreciate Chef Failatu's remarkable effort.
One of his paintings portrayed Chef Failatu's cooking as an embodiment of the country, featuring an extended hand holding a ladle with soup adorned by a black star, set against the backdrop of the national flag's colors.
Mr. Demaliya described the paintings as a visual representation of Chef Failatu's tireless dedication, illustrating how she cooked for hours to showcase the country's immense potential.
