NIA to brief public on implementation roadmap for National Identity Register amendment regulations

The Ministry of the Interior and the National Identification Authority (NIA) will hold a press briefing on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, on the implementation roadmap for the National Identity Register (Amendment) Regulations, 2026 (L.I. 2523).

The briefing will take place at 1:30 p.m. in the Conference Room of the Information Services Department under the theme: Implementation Roadmap for National Identity Register (Amendment) Regulations, 2026 (L.I. 2523).

Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, and the Executive Secretary of the NIA, Mr Wisdom Kwaku Deku, are expected to address the media.
