Jirapa Chief outlines vision for development, calls for unity and collaboration

Naa Dinaa Donglabong Ganaa III, the of the Jirapa Traditional Area, has announced plans to collaborate with stakeholders in developing a standardized development plan for Jirapa.

The plan aims to address priority sectors such as education, health, roads, agriculture, and tourism, fostering socio-economic growth for the community.

During his coronation ceremony held in Jirapa, Naa Dinaa Ganaa III expressed his vision for the municipality, emphasizing the need to revitalize development efforts.

He highlighted the decline in the Saint Joseph Hospital's status, once considered one of the best health facilities in Ghana, and pledged to reawaken the spirit of hard work and innovation.

The emphasized the importance of unity among the youth and the elderly, intending to blend their skills for the advancement of Jirapa.

He also called attention to the untapped tourist sites in the area, urging the government to invest in their development for income generation.

Responding to advice from Naa Basing Naa, President of the Ullo Traditional Council, to be cautious of praise singers and liars, Naa Dinaa Ganaa III pledged to maintain humility and consult his conscience for guidance.

Naa Basing Naa, who chaired the occasion, advised the chief to be fair and firm, treating people equally to win support and unity for Jirapa's development.

He cautioned against partisan and warned against individuals who might attempt to distract the chief from his vision.

Mr Majeed Ayariga, the Jirapa Municipal Coordinating Director, urged collaboration with security agencies for peace and development. He called on citizens to support the chief's development programs through contributions and counselling.

Member of for Jirapa, Mr Cletus Seidu Dapilla, pledged his support for the chief's development goals.

He emphasized the importance of unity, peace, and forgiveness for a prosperous society.

Naa Dinaa Ganaa III, aged 41 and an educationist, expressed his commitment to working towards the development and progress of Jirapa.
