Government committed to continuing ongoing housing projects, including Saglemi – Francis Boakye Works and Housing Minister: Ghana News

Francis Asenso-Boakye, the Minister of , has reiterated the government's dedication to continuing all ongoing housing projects, including those initiated during previous administrations such as the Saglemi project.

Speaking at the sod-cutting ceremony for the Pokuase Housing project under the new National Affordable Housing Programme (NAHP), Mr. Asenso-Boakye highlighted the government's proactive steps to complete projects like Borteyman and Asokore Mampong, alongside the ongoing efforts to finalize the Saglemi project.

He emphasized that the private sector would undertake the construction of all 8,000 housing units in the new Pokuase Housing project.

The government's focus would center on providing essential infrastructure and services such as roads, water, electricity, drainage systems, sewage, schools, and commercial centers.

These amenities would not only serve the housing residents but also benefit the entire community.

Mr. Asenso-Boakye's statements underline the government's commitment to prudent management of public funds and the holistic development of housing initiatives.
