The Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL) has reaffirmed its commitment to realizing its vision of positioning Ghana as the Preferred Aviation Hub and Leader in Airport Business in .

This expression of commitment follows the recent appointment of Mrs. Yvonne Nana Afriyie Opare as the Managing Director of GACL, effective December 24, 2023.

The appointment of Mrs. Opare comes after the retirement of Mrs. Pamela Djamson-Tettey on December 23, 2023.

Mrs Opare is expected to play a key role in advancing GACL's strategic objectives and contributing to the growth and development of the aviation sector in the region.

In line with the leadership transition, the Board has been directed to facilitate the exit of certain management staff who have reached the statutory retirement age of 60 years. The individuals affected by this directive include:

Mr. Emmanuel Akotoa Fanko – Group Executive, Procurement

Col. (Rtd) Emmanuel Akohene Mensah – Director, Aviation Security

Mr. Yaw Appiah-Danquah – Director, Airports Planning & Projects
