Air Commodore Eric Agyen-Frempong, Base Commander of the Air Force Base in , emphasized the importance of excellence and unity within the Ghana Air Force in safeguarding the country's airspace. His remarks came at the close of a two-day demonstration of the A-29 Super Tucano Aircraft in .

The demonstration, which featured static displays and flight manoeuvres, was organized by the Ghana Air Force in collaboration with Sierra Nevada Corporation, a US-based Defense Technology company, and Embraer, a Brazilian Aerospace and Defense outfit. Its purpose was to familiarize personnel with the agility and capabilities of the A-29 Super Tucano Aircraft and strengthen future relationships with defence industries to counter terrorism and insurgency in the West African Region.

In attendance was Dr Zanetor Agyeman-, Member of for Klottey Korle Constituency, who participated in static displays, aircraft viewing, and cockpit briefings. Retired military officers, school children, and other guests witnessed the impressive display by pilots of the MI-17 helicopter and K-8 fighter aircraft.

Air Commodore Agyen-Frempong expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their contributions to the success of the exercise and commended the pilots and ground crew for their professionalism and commitment.

Describing the A-29 Super Tucano as a symbol of strength, versatility, and technological advancement, he highlighted its superior performance capabilities and its vital role in ensuring the safety and security of Ghana and its partners worldwide.
