Police in Kasoa have taken into custody three men accused of sexually abusing their own daughters, acting swiftly after the Awutu Senya East Municipal Education Directorate filed a formal complaint based on disclosures made at school.
Officials said the girls confided in the Girl-Child and Guidance and Counselling coordinators, whose immediate escalation triggered the police response.

The directorate expressed concern that incidents involving the safety and protection of children appear to be rising within the municipality.
The Ghana Police Service confirmed that the three suspects were arrested shortly after the complaint and are cooperating with investigators as the case advances.
Education authorities renewed calls for deeper institutional collaboration to protect vulnerable children, noting that the situation reflects persistent gaps that place young people at risk.
They further highlighted the lack of a Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) office in Awutu Senya East, a notable absence given the commission’s broad national presence, arguing that this limits timely support for victims and their families.
