Accra, Ghana – 20 September 2025 – David Kwodow Prah Afful, also known online as Kwame Nkrumah II, has been sentenced to seven months in prison for threatening the President, Members of Parliament, and other government officials.
Afful pleaded guilty in an Accra Circuit Court to charges of threat of death and offensive conduct conducive to breach of the peace, asking for forgiveness from government officials.

The Ghana Police Service arrested him after he issued threats and incited violence during a TikTok livestream, including threats to burn marketplaces and encourage others to commit similar acts. Police emphasised that while freedom of speech is respected, incitement to violence will not be tolerated.
