GNFS contains a commercial fire at Anfoega Gblenkor

Personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) from the Anfoega and Kpando Fire Stations responded to a commercial fire outbreak involving a tailoring container shop at Anfoega Gblenkor opposite the Anfoega Catholic Hospital on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at about 4:00 a.m.

According to the GNFS, firefighters immediately began operations upon arrival to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby properties.

The Fire Service said the blaze was successfully contained and extinguished, preventing further damage to adjoining structures and properties.

No casualties were recorded, while the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
