The Service said the swift response by firefighters prevented the blaze from spreading to other parts of the dormitory and the school compound, limiting the extent of the damage.
The Ahafo Regional Fire Commander, ACFO II Samuel Ferdie Tetteh, later visited the scene to assess the situation and coordinate further response measures.
The GNFS said investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing and reaffirmed its commitment to protecting lives and property through prompt emergency response.
