The National Service Authority (NSA) has issued a circular to all user agencies, raising concern over the growing number of cases in which deployed National Service Personnel (NSP) are being rejected during the 2025/2026 service year.
The circular, with reference number NSA 4/17/12-25, was signed by the Director-General, Ruth Dela Seddoh, and advised that the number and date of the letter should be quoted in all correspondence.

The circular, dated December 17, 2025, and issued from the NSA Headquarters at 46 Patrice Lumumba Road, Airport Residential Area, Accra, noted that the Authority has observed an increasing trend of personnel being turned away after deployment.
According to the NSA, this development has led to a significant rise in reposting requests, a situation that is disrupting the smooth administration of the service year, particularly as the deadline for the ongoing Regional Validation Exercise draws closer.
Management of the Authority has therefore formally notified all user agencies that where an organization is unable, for any reason, to accommodate personnel deployed to it, the agency must officially communicate this decision to the personnel without delay.
The affected personnel are then expected to inform the Authority to enable the necessary steps to be taken to redeploy them before the stipulated validation deadline.
The NSA emphasized that strict adherence to this procedure is necessary to ensure an efficient, orderly, and transparent deployment and validation process for the 2025/2026 service year, and appealed for the continued cooperation of all user agencies.
