The Ghana Armed Forces stated categorically that the medical screening process is still ongoing and that no results have been declared at this time.

“The publication is FAKE NEWS and should be ignored by all,” the statement said.

The Ghana Armed Forces further informed the public that efforts are underway to trace the originators of what it described as a mischievous story.

The Ghana Armed Forces also urged media practitioners, particularly content creators and bloggers or vloggers, to be circumspect and to crosscheck their facts before publishing.

The statement was signed by Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin of the Ghana Navy, Acting Director General of Public Relations.
