
Hon. Andrew Asiamah Amoako is the Member of Parliament for Fomena, representing the constituency under the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He hails from Wioso-Adansi and was born on Thursday, 24th February 1966. A Christian by faith, he has served in both the 7th and 8th Parliaments of the Fourth Republic.
His academic path spans law, science, and governance. He holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Ghana (2023), a Master of Arts from the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre (2019), an MSc and BSc from KNUST (2000 and 1996), and an LLB from the same university (2011). He also obtained a Certificate in Legal Training from the Ghana School of Law (2013) and a Diploma in Surveying Practice from the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (2000). His early education began at Wioso-Kwapia-Patarro R/C Primary School and culminated in an Advanced Level Certificate from St. Hubert’s Seminary in 1990.

Professionally, Hon. Amoako has worked as a Lands Officer, Valuer, and Estates Officer with the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly, and as a Legal Practitioner with Akosombo Chambers before assuming full legislative duties. He is currently a Member of Parliament in the 8th Parliament and plays a leading role in several key committees.
