PROFILE: Hon. Akwasi Konadu

Hon. Akwasi Konadu is the Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He was born on July 25, 1982, and hails from Paakoso. He is serving in the 8th Parliament of Ghana.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with Philosophy (First Class) from the University of Ghana, Legon, obtained in May 2005. He also earned a Diploma in Education (Distinction) from the University of Education, Kumasi Campus, in August 2019. Additionally, he holds a Master of Science in Development Policy and Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), completed in July 2020, and another MSc in Development Policy and Planning from KNUST in February 2021. He became a Corporate Planner at the Ghana Institute of Planners in December 2021.

Hon. Akwasi Konadu has worked as an Audit Assistant at KDA Accounting Services in Kumasi, a Project Supervising Officer at Bonsafo Barwuah Foundation in Accra, and an Operations Manager at Greenfield Company Ltd.
