PROFILE: Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim

Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim is the Member of Parliament for Banda, representing the National Democratic Congress (NDC). He was born on May 6, 1974, and hails from Banda Ahenkro. He has served in Ghana’s 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Parliaments.

He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Ghana in 2001 and an MBA from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) in 2019. He also completed his secondary education at Sunyani Secondary School, earning W.A.E.C/G.C.E. “O” and “A” Level certificates in 1996.

Hon. Ahmed Ibrahim is the CEO of Flamingo Publication. Within Parliament, he has served as Deputy Minority Chief Whip, Deputy Majority Chief Whip, and continues to play a significant role in legislative activities.
