The Management of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has announced the reintroduction of its Enhanced Samansaman System as part of efforts to improve sanitation conditions across the metropolis.

According to the Assembly, the initiative will take effect on July 1, 2026, with the deployment of a special sanitation task force to selected communities within the city.
