Funeral announcement: Madam Adwoa Tiwaa laid to rest

Family, friends, and well-wishers have been invited to the final funeral rites of Madam Adwoa Tiwaa, popularly known as Maame Tiwaa, who passed away at the age of 60.

The funeral arrangements will begin on Saturday, April 11, 2026, with the laying in state at Presby Park, Bantama, opposite Sefah Boakye Hospital in Kumasi. This will allow family members, loved ones, and sympathizers to pay their last respects.

A burial mass will follow at the same venue at 9:00 a.m., after which the late Madam Adwoa Tiwaa will be laid to rest at Domeabra in the Ahafo Ano area of the Ashanti Region.

Later in the day, final funeral rites will be held at Presby Park, Bantama from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., where mourners will gather to celebrate her life and legacy.

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, a thanksgiving service will take place at the New Jerusalem Church at Sokoban Ampayoo from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The final funeral rites will then continue at Presby Park, Bantama from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The family warmly invites the general public to join them in honoring and celebrating the life of Madam Adwoa Tiwaa. All are cordially invited.
