Nana Akosua Sakyibea I, Queenmother of Abotakyi Akuapim, has called for justice following the alleged murder of her daughter, Alberta Hagan, and two grandchildren at Tuba Net-Link Estates in Kasoa a year ago.
Samuel Amoah, known as Biggie, has been charged with three counts of murder and attempted murder and appeared before the Adabraka District Court. His plea has not yet been taken, and he was remanded into lawful custody to reappear on October 13, 2025.

Speaking to journalists outside the court, Nana Sakyibea I denied claims that her daughter had an amorous relationship with Amoah, explaining that he merely ran errands for Alberta, who was legally married. She tearfully recounted how Amoah allegedly murdered her daughter and grandchildren with a knife, expressing deep anguish over the loss.
“Why should Amoah kill my daughter and my grandchildren in this manner? I have suffered as a result of this incident. Only God knows what I am going through,” she said. Nana Sakyibea, I added that she played an active role in facilitating Amoah’s arrest, providing police with his contact information after extensive efforts and performing libations to call on Nananom.
The Ghana Police Service, with the assistance of the case investigator known as Confidence, apprehended Amoah at his hideout in Suhum, Eastern Region, on September 17, 2025, following intelligence operations. Amoah reportedly admitted the offence during interrogation but claimed he did not know what came over him.
Nana Sakyibea I expressed gratitude to the police for their diligence and reiterated her sole demand: justice for her daughter and grandchildren.
