Speaking on behalf of the sector minister, Elizabeth Ofosu-Adjare reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring that recommendations from the survey are incorporated into the country’s upcoming trade and industrial policy framework.

According to the Ministry, the review process is intended to align national policies with practical industry realities to promote sustainable economic growth, industrial expansion, and increased productivity.

The Minister stressed the importance of evidence-based policymaking, noting that insights gathered from stakeholders and industry players would help shape strategies that respond effectively to current economic challenges and opportunities.

Participants at the dialogue also discussed measures to improve trade competitiveness, stimulate local industries, encourage value addition, and support job creation across various sectors of the economy.

The engagement forms part of broader government efforts to strengthen Ghana’s industrial transformation agenda and create a more resilient and competitive business environment.
