What are the BoG authorised credit bureaus in Ghana?

According to the Bank of Ghana (BoG), which exercises overall supervisory and regulatory authority under the Credit Reporting Act, 2007 (Act 726), a Credit Bureau is defined as a corporate body licensed by the BoG and incorporated solely to conduct credit reference bureau activities.

These activities fundamentally involve gathering and maintaining data to form credit histories, processing this credit-related information on individuals and businesses (known as credit information subjects), and subsequently delivering credit reports to authorised users, such as financial institutions, to aid in prudent credit decision-making.

Ghana has three BoG authorised credit bureaus.
