Ghana gold coin prices updated: 23 February 2026

The Bank of Ghana has announced the official prices for its Ghana Gold Coins as of Monday, 23 February 2026, reflecting current trends in the global gold market and local currency valuation.

The updated pricing for the coins is as follows:

  • 0.25 oz coin: GH¢14,818.39
  • 0.50 oz coin: GH¢28,900.11
  • 1.00 oz coin: GH¢57,108.42

These figures are based on the previous day’s LBMA PM gold price, which closed at USD 5,053.20, and the prevailing USD/GHS exchange rate of 10.9813, as reported by Bloomberg.

The increase in gold coin valuations underscores the continued strength of gold as a stable investment and store of value, particularly in periods of local currency fluctuation and economic uncertainty.
