Shatta Wale, Medikal partner GoldBod to promote Made-in-Ghana jewellery

Award-winning musicians Shatta Wale and Medikal have paid a courtesy call on the Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Gold Board (GoldBod), Sammy Gyamfi, to discuss a partnership to promote GoldBod jewellery and support Ghana’s gold value addition agenda.

Under the partnership, the two artistes will promote locally made gold jewellery through their music, public appearances, social media platforms and international events, including ShattaFest UK, to showcase Ghanaian craftsmanship to a global audience.

Sammy Gyamfi welcomed the collaboration, describing it as an important step towards strengthening Ghana’s jewellery industry, creating jobs and positioning the country as Africa‘s leading hub for gold value addition.
