Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, the Founder and Leader of Perez Chapel International, has prophesied that Ghana's economic difficulties will be resolved in 2024, attributing the turnaround to the “great power” of God rather than political interventions.
Speaking at the Church's 31st ‘Night of Prophecy and Power' in Accra, Archbishop Agyinasare assured congregants that the challenges the country is facing will find resolution this year.
He emphasized that the change would not be brought about by political parties but by divine intervention.
“This country is going through difficulties, but there are difficulties that will be resolved in 2024, not because of political parties, but because God has decided that it is His year of great power,” he declared.
Ghana has been grappling with economic challenges, including high inflation, an elevated cost of living, and the depreciation of the Cedi against the dollar since 2022.
Seeking assistance from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the country aims to stabilize and restore confidence in its economy.
While signs of economic recovery emerged in the last quarter of 2023, with inflation dropping to 26.4 percent, the lowest in 13 months, Archbishop Agyinasare highlighted that 2023 was a Year of God's faithfulness.
He commended the nation for remaining steadfast amidst political turmoil and challenges faced by some African countries.
Looking ahead to 2024, Archbishop Agyinasare proclaimed it as the “Year of God's power,” expressing confidence that the country would experience divine intervention.
He called on Christians to dedicate themselves to the work of God in the upcoming year and urged wealthy individuals to invest in the Church to facilitate the broader spread of the gospel.
