Ghana Boxing Federation sets executive elections for December 27, 2025, ahead of international competitions and national championship

The Ghana Boxing Federation (GBF) has confirmed that its executive elections will be held on December 27, 2025, following a meeting last month at the Charles Quartey Boxing Club in Accra.

The meeting addressed Ghana’s upcoming participation in the International Boxing Association (IBA) World Championships in Abu Dhabi from November 30 to December 10, and the Youth Olympic qualifiers in Angola from December 12-20, 2025. GBF President Bernard Quartey assured executives that registration challenges for the IBA event are being resolved after the necessary documents were submitted to the global body for approval.
