The Fire Service Ladies Association (FISLA) chapter in Tarkwa has extended support to the Angels of Hope Orphanage in the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality of the Western Region, donating assorted items valued at GH¢3,000 along with a cash contribution of GH¢2,000.
The donated items included washing powder, bar soap, diapers, liquid soap, and toilet rolls, aimed at improving the welfare of children at the orphanage.

Presenting the items on behalf of the association, Madam Wendy Abokoma Addison, Assistant Divisional Officer Grade I, said the gesture formed part of activities marking FISLA’s 30th anniversary celebration nationwide. She encouraged individuals, institutions, and Non-Governmental Organizations to show compassion and extend help to the underprivileged in their communities.
Receiving the items, Madam Esi Antobam, Proprietress of Angels of Hope Orphanage, expressed deep gratitude to the association for their thoughtful contribution. She also appealed to the public for additional support, particularly in the form of building materials such as cement, iron rods, sand, roofing sheets, and a refrigerator, to help improve living conditions at the orphanage.
