
Hon. Ernest Henry Norgbey is the Member of Parliament for Ashaiman, serving on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Born on Sunday, 28th December 1980, he hails from Ho-Ziavi in the Volta Region and is a Christian by faith.
A seasoned legislator, Hon. Norgbey has represented the Ashaiman constituency in both the 7th and 8th Parliaments, and currently continues his service in the 9th Parliament. His diverse educational background reflects a deep commitment to academic and professional excellence. He holds multiple postgraduate degrees, including MSc qualifications from Coventry University and the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Centre, as well as an LLB from the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA). He is also a chartered member of both the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.

Professionally, Hon. Norgbey has vast experience in procurement, supply chain management, and aviation, culminating in his current role as a legislator. In Parliament, he chairs the Youth and Sports Committee and serves on the Defence and Interior, Security and Intelligence, and Finance Committees, where his expertise continues to inform key national policy discussions and oversight responsibilities.
