
Hon. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine is the Member of Parliament for Bolgatanga East, representing Zuarungu on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Born on Thursday, 6th January 1966, he is a Catholic Christian and a distinguished legislator who has served in the 6th, 7th, and 8th Parliaments of Ghana.
An accomplished legal scholar, Hon. Ayine holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Ghana (1993), a professional law qualification from the Ghana School of Law (1995), and three advanced law degrees: a Master of Laws from the University of Michigan (1998), a Master of Laws from Stanford Law School (2003), and a Doctor of the Science of Law from Stanford Law School (2006). He began his academic journey at Notre Dame Secondary School, earning his O-Level in 1985, and completed his GCE Advanced Level at Tamale Secondary School in 1988.

Before entering politics, Hon. Ayine was a Lecturer at the University of Ghana and served as Deputy Attorney-General at the Office of the Attorney-General. In Parliament, he brings unmatched legal expertise to national lawmaking, policy development, and constitutional affairs, making him a prominent voice on matters of justice and governance.
