Akatsi Presbytery of GEC to open 2024 Representative Conference Thursday  

The leadership of the Akatsi Presbytery of the Global Evangelical Church (GEC) has announced preparations for this year's Presbytery Representative Conference, scheduled to commence on Thursday.

Themed “Be Holy in All You Do,” the three-day event will take place at the Shalom Chapel of in Akatsi, , concluding on Saturday, April 27. Reverend Forestone F. Tsagli, Chairman of the Akatsi Presbytery, revealed to the Ghana Agency (GNA) that over 120 delegates are expected to attend.

Expressing confidence in the conference's success, Reverend Tsagli highlighted that the event would include the election of a chairman and treasurer for the Akatsi Presbytery in accordance with 's constitution.

Dignitaries such as Rt Reverend Prosper Samuel Dzormeku, the Moderator of the Church, and Reverend Seth Agbeyome, Akatsi Presbytery Clerk, are expected to grace the occasion with their presence.

The conference aims to showcase various Presbytery activities, including achievements, challenges, ongoing projects, financial matters, human resource development, strategic planning, and spiritual growth. It provides a platform for delegates to engage in meaningful discussions and decision-making processes crucial to the advancement of the Akatsi Presbytery.
