Award-winning dancehall and reggae artist Livingstone Etsey Setekle, popularly known as ‘Stonebwoy,' delighted fans at this year's Vodza Ecotourism Initiative and Easter entertainment show held at the Keta Emancipation Beach Resort in the Volta region.
The event, which took place on Saturday, March 30, attracted a massive crowd, including thousands of youths from the Keta Municipality and beyond. Fans expressed satisfaction and joy, with one attendee, Mr. Jonny Jones, praising the organizers and expressing excitement at seeing Stonebwoy perform for the first time.
Mr. Jones called for more such shows during Easter festivities in the future and appealed to authorities, traditional rulers, and other stakeholders to collaborate for better entertainment events.
The Vodza Ecotourism Initiative, founded by Professor Audrey Gadzekpo, featured various activities such as the ‘Woezor Night,' ‘Midunu' food fair, and a Regatta show aimed at promoting ecotourism and local and international music.
Before his performance, Stonebwoy paid homage to Torgbi Sri lll, the “Awormefia” of the Anlo State, at his palace in Anloga, accompanied by his wife and children.
Other artists, including Chief One and Keeny Ice, also delivered electrifying performances, further enhancing the excitement of the crowd.
