Mr. Kurt Okraku, the President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has expressed admiration and gratitude towards former President John Agyekum Kufuor for his significant contributions to the development of football in Ghana during his tenure.

The J.A. Kufuor Cup, set to feature a match between Asante Kotoko and Nsoatreman FC, is part of the initiatives organized by the John Agyekum Kufuor Foundation to raise funds and commemorate the impactful contributions of the former President.
President Okraku affirmed the GFA's full support for the event, expressing the association's endorsement and commitment to participating in the special match at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
