Concerned Fans of Ghana Football, the convener of the #SaveGHFootball #WherelsTheLove movement, has announced its intention to organize a protest on Wednesday, 14th February 2024.

The movement aims to address the evident collapse of the football ecosystem in Ghana and advocate for comprehensive reforms to restore the game to its former glory.

The Concerned Fans of Ghana Football expresses dissatisfaction with the 's (GFA) approach to football development and the lack of a coherent policy to guide the growth of the sport.

The deteriorating state of the , the underwhelming performances of national teams at tournaments, and the disproportionate allocation of resources to the at the expense of overall development are also areas of concern.

The demonstration, themed #SaveGHFootball #WherelsTheLove, will petition President H.E Nana Addo Dankwa to:

  • Halt the GFA's search for a new coach
  • Dissolve the committee tasked with finding a new coach
  • Initiate reforms at the GFA
  • Prompt the Ministry of to formulate a comprehensive policy in collaboration with stakeholders to facilitate positive change in football development.

In addition to petitioning for reforms, the protest aims to raise awareness among Ghanaians and educate the public about the significance of developing football for the greater good.
