Kasoa, Central Region – Phillis Naa Koryoo Okunor, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Awutu Senya East constituency, extended her condolences and support to the owners of shops affected by an unexpected fire outbreak in Datus near Kasoa New Market.
On Monday, January 22, 2024, Ms Koryoo Okunor personally inspected the extent of the damage caused by the fire to the affected shops, expressing her solidarity with the affected owners. Mr Alex, one of the affected shop owners, alongside other community leaders, accompanied Naa Koryoo during the assessment.
In a compassionate gesture, Hon. Naa Koryoo provided the affected shop owners, including Mr Alex, with an undisclosed amount of money to help alleviate their immediate needs and challenges arising from the unfortunate incident.
