This came to light when a delegation from Burkina Faso, led by the country’s Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. David Kabre, paid a courtesy call on Hon. Ofosu-Adjare on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, in Accra.

She said Ghana was ready to collaborate with Burkina Faso’s authorities and stakeholders to ensure the success of the international exhibition, while pledging the support of the Government of Ghana and the Ghanaian community towards the event.
Hon. Ofosu-Adjare emphasised the importance of regional cooperation in promoting local industries, supporting artisans and creating new opportunities for businesses across West Africa.
For his part, H.E. David Kabre commended the Minister for her role in enhancing economic ties between Ghana and Burkina Faso.
He particularly praised efforts that have contributed to improved trade flows, including the export of eggs from Ghana to Burkina Faso and the growth of tomato trade between the two countries.
