According to the NIA, the disruption is linked to challenges currently being faced by its telecommunications providers, which have impacted the Authority’s operational systems.

The Authority apologised to the public for the inconvenience caused and assured citizens that efforts are underway to restore normal services as quickly as possible.

“Our technical team is working diligently with the telecommunication providers to resolve the issue as quickly as possible,” the statement said.

The NIA appealed to the public for patience and understanding while the technical challenges are being addressed.

The Authority further assured citizens that registration services would resume immediately after the network issues are resolved.

The notice was signed by the Head of the Corporate Affairs Directorate of the NIA, Williams Ampomah Emmanuel Darlas.
