Prisons Director-General attends Church of Pentecost council meeting

The Ghana Prisons Service Director-General, Patience Baffoe-Bonnie, has attended the 48th General Council Meeting of the Church of Pentecost.

The meeting was held on April 22, 2026, at the Pentecost Convention Centre and brought together church leaders to review administrative decisions and policies.

The Service said its participation forms part of the “Think Prisons 360 Degrees” initiative, which focuses on strengthening stakeholder collaboration.

It added that the engagement reflects efforts to build partnerships with faith-based organisations to support inmate welfare, rehabilitation, and reintegration.
