Accra, Ghana – The Trust Hospital and its Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Juliana Oye Ameh, have received prestigious awards in recognition of their outstanding contributions to healthcare. The accolades were presented at the 7th Sustainability & Social Investment (SSI) Awards held in Accra.
The hospital was honoured with the “Excellence in Sustainable Medical Practices and a Sustainable Patient-Centered Care Model Award.”
These awards specifically acknowledge the hospital's impactful initiatives, including the Pink October Breast Cancer awareness drive, considered the gold standard in the industry, reaching over a million women and men.
Dr. Juliana Oye Ameh, CEO of Trust Hospital, was individually recognized with a “Distinguished Fellowship” at the Africa Women's Leadership Academy (AWLA) – Ladies in Leadership Awards.
The award acknowledges her outstanding contributions and steadfast commitment to excellence in healthcare.
Expressing gratitude, Dr Ameh attributed the success to the collective effort of the hospital's staff, stating, “We see this as a call to action and will not rest on our laurels as we strive to ensure the best quality healthcare for all Ghanaians.”

Her strategic initiatives include a five-year strategy plan, the establishment of The Trust Premium Centre focusing on sustainable child healthcare, and the launch of dedicated oncology services through the Trust Cancer Care unit.
The hospital's commitment to quality healthcare was further emphasized with the introduction of the Quality Healthcare and Patient Safety Agenda.
