Ghana exit 2026 World Cup after 1-0 defeat to Colombia

Colombia defeated Ghana 1-0 in the Round of 32 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, ending the Black Stars‘ campaign.

Jhon Arias scored the only goal of the match in the 14th minute at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City to send Colombia into the Round of 16, where they will face Switzerland.

Ghana created early opportunities, with Thomas Partey going close from long range, but failed to find an equaliser despite pushing for a goal in the closing stages.
