National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, popularly known as “General Mosquito,” has called on Ghanaians to unite behind the Black Stars as they prepare to face Panama in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In a message shared on social media, Asiedu Nketiah urged citizens to put aside their differences and support the national team as they represent Ghana on the global stage.

“Today, the entire nation beats with one heart. No matter where we stand, when the Black Stars step onto the pitch against Panama, we stand together as one people,” he stated.
The veteran politician expressed confidence in the team and wished the players success in the crucial encounter, encouraging Ghanaians to demonstrate unwavering support.
“Wishing the boys the absolute best of luck today. Let us pour out our maximum support and make Ghana proud!” he added.
