Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has praised Ghana’s embassy staff in the United Arab Emirates for their dedication and professionalism in ensuring the safety of the Black Queens currently in the country.
In a statement, Mr. Ablakwa commended the embassy officials for what he described as remarkable patriotism, courage and compassion as they continue to provide consular support to the national women’s football team.

The Black Queens ,Ghana’s senior women’s national team,are in the UAE with a delegation made up of 25 players and 16 officials.
According to the Minister, embassy staff have remained actively engaged with the team, monitoring developments and taking necessary steps to guarantee their collective safety.
He stressed that the welfare of Ghanaian nationals abroad remains a top priority, particularly amid heightened security concerns in parts of the Middle East.
“No Ghanaian would be abandoned in harm’s way,” he assured, reaffirming government’s commitment to protecting its citizens wherever they may be.
The statement comes as Ghana’s diplomatic missions across the region continue to monitor the evolving security situation and provide guidance and assistance to nationals when required.
