The Member of Parliament for Twifo-Atti-Morkwa Constituency in the Central Region, Mr Theophilus Vondee, has called on Ghanaians to support the National Democratic Congress (NDC), describing the party as committed to tangible development.
He cited improvements in the constituency under the NDC administration, including the provision of potable water, school infrastructure, and Community Health Planning and Services (CHPS) compounds, as well as stronger economic management that has bolstered the Ghanaian cedi against the US dollar.

Mr Vondee made the remarks during a sod-cutting ceremony alongside the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo-Atti-Morkwa, Mr Isaac Yawson, marking the start of development projects across four communities.
The initiatives include a mechanised borehole at Twifo Akweakurom, a six-unit classroom block at Twifo Aboso, a CHPS compound at Twifo Merekukrom, and a mechanised borehole at Otuano Camp.
He urged continued support for the NDC, contrasting the party’s development-focused agenda with the New Patriotic Party (NPP), which he accused of distraction, corruption, and mismanagement.
Mr Yawson assured residents that all projects would be completed on schedule and called on government appointees to follow President John Dramani Mahama‘s directives, ensuring that abandoned projects are revived and completed.
Some residents who have not yet benefited from similar initiatives appealed to the MP and DCE to extend development efforts to their communities, emphasising the need to fulfil promises made during the sod-cutting event.
