The National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) has invited Kwame Baffoe, popularly known as Abronye, to assist in investigations regarding allegations he made against President John Dramani Mahama.

A letter dated February 21, 2025, and signed by Bono Regional Commander, Mr Kwaku Afari, directed Abronye to meet with the NIB Director of Investigations on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Bureau’s Kawukudi office in the Greater Accra Region.

The invitation follows statements made by Abronye during an interview on Movement in the Morning, a breakfast show on Movement TV, hosted by Kwaku Dawuro. During the interview, he alleged that President Mahama was hoarding GH¢550 million intended for dismissed appointees at the Jubilee House. He also accused the administration of corruption in recruitment and revocation processes.

The NIB has not publicly commented on the nature of the investigation, but the invitation signals a formal probe into the claims.
