Ningo-Prampram MP and Minister-Designate for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, Sam Nartey George, has criticized Deputy Majority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin for his alleged mistreatment of Madam Gifty Jiagge Gobah, Clerk to the Appointments Committee of Parliament.

In a statement, George described Afenyo-Markin’s actions as “despicable” and “misogynistic,” asserting that such behaviour is unacceptable, especially from a leader of Parliament. He emphasized that Madam Gobah, a parliamentary staff member for 18 years, deserves respect.
