The Constitutional Review Committee (CRC) is scheduled to brief President John Dramani Mahama on Monday, November 24, at the Presidency in Accra, providing an update on its work reviewing Ghana‘s 1992 constitution.

The eight-member committee, chaired by Professor H. Kwasi Prempeh, Executive Director of the Ghana Centre for Democratic Development (CDD-Ghana), was inaugurated by President Mahama to lead the review process. The briefing is set for 13:00 hours.

Initially inaugurated on January 30, the committee had been expected to present its findings in August. However, citing the extensive nature of the task, it requested and was granted an additional three-month extension to complete its work.
