Dr. Amoakohene expressed appreciation to Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his representation, as well as to traditional leaders, municipal and district officials, and participants who contributed to the success of the event.

He emphasized that such cultural festivals play a vital role in strengthening identity and passing traditions on to future generations. “Our stories, our history, and our culture define who we are,” he noted, urging continued commitment to preserving Ghana’s heritage.

The Minister also acknowledged the support of corporate partners and individuals who contributed to the event, describing their involvement as key to its success.

AshantiFest 2026 forms part of broader efforts to promote tourism, culture, and community engagement in the region, while reinforcing the importance of safeguarding Ghana’s cultural legacy.
