Deputy Foreign Affairs Minister represents President Mahama at São Tomé and Príncipe presidential inauguration

The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. James Gyakye Quayson (MP), represented the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, at the official inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe, H.E. Eng. Carlos Manuel Vila Nova.

The ceremony was held on Thursday, September 3, 2026.

Hon. Gyakye Quayson was accompanied by Ghana’s Ambassador to Angola, concurrently accredited to São Tomé and Príncipe, H.E. Mavis Kusorbor, and officials of the Ghana Mission in Luanda.
