In a statement, school authorities described the incident as unfortunate and assured the public that swift action has been taken to address the matter. Management expressed regret over the development and apologised to parents, guardians, and the general public for the distress caused.

According to the school, an internal investigation has been initiated to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. The students involved have reportedly been identified and are facing disciplinary measures in line with the school’s code of conduct.

The administration further indicated that counselling and guidance services are being provided to affected students, while steps are being taken to strengthen supervision and reinforce discipline on campus.

Located in Swedru in the Central Region, the school reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful learning environment. Management also appealed to the public to refrain from spreading unverified information as investigations continue.

Education stakeholders have called for stricter enforcement of school regulations and renewed emphasis on character development to prevent similar incidents in the future.
